1)What is an Ionizing Curtain Transvector
SIMCO Industrial Static Control Ionizing Curtain Transvectors (air knives) combine the proven performance of SIMCO static neutralizing bars with the new and improved patented Curtain Transvectors. The result is a highly efficient "air knife" or "curtain" of ionized air for superior cleaning and neutralization capabilities.

Operating alone, a SIMCO static bar efficiently neutralizes static charges on surfaces close to the bar. When a static bar is combined with a curtain transvector, the static bar's ability to clean and neutralize surfaces in a specific area a distance away from the bar is dramatically improved. The Curtain Transvector also provides the benefit of greatly improved cleaning capabilities while substantially reducing air consumption figures.

SIMCO Ionizing Curtain Transvectors can be ordered with or without standard SIMCO static bars or SIMCO intrinsically safe static bars which are UL listed and FM approved for Class I, Division I, Group D hazardous locations.

To determine air consumption (SCFM) for a curtain transvector, locate the appropriate pressure and corresponding air consumption per inch of transvector on the chart. Multiply the air consumption per inch x the effective length of the transvector.
