NEW Static Control System for Injection Molding

SIMCO Industrial Static Control announces the release of a NEW static control system for injection molding. The new IONforce static control bar is a high efficiency static bar with an extend ionization range. The system is available with an optional air assist feature which enhances its extended range capability. The IONforce is designed to operate in either steady state or pulse DC mode.

The IONforce is ideal for installation in the mold ejection area or over parts delivery/collection tubs. Injection molded parts can have high static charges that attract airborne contamination, resulting in product rejects. Operators may also experience uncomfortable shocks when working next to the collection bin. The IONforce has an extended range capability, with an optional air assist, to neutralize the static charges in the injection molding process.

SIMCO’s IONforce bar produces bipolar ions that neutralize static charges. It features a low profile with a height of just 1.13” and can easily be mounted on an injection molding machine. The patented bar is designed for easy installation and cleaning.

The IONforce is designed to be used with SIMCO’s PulseFlow® Controller (PFC). The PFC may be switched between pulse and steady state operating modes and provides independent control of positive and negative polarity.
