New PerforMAX IQ Static Control System

INTRODUCING PerforMAX IQ Static Control System . . . truly the most innovative static control system available

The PerforMAX IQ is an intelligent air ionization system that enables the user to be in total control of static electricity. The new IQ system has a narrow profile static bar and revolutionary microprocessor. It has a controlled and monitored power supply. The IQ system includes a web monitoring module designed to identify and display the residual electrostatic charge on the material surface downstream of the ionizer. This feeds the data back to the IQ power supply, enhancing the neutralizing efficiency of the system. The PerforMAX IQ system also offers a communication module that provides complete communication capabilities to a PLC or computer master, with full system diagnostics, web charge readings or alarms, and software with a variety of popular fieldbus communication protocols including Profibus, DeviceNet, EtherNet or Modbus.

The PerforMAX IQ system is ideal for use on films, paper, non-wovens and fabric in web or sheet form as well as applications such as blow molding and injection molding. The PerforMAX IQ will also be available in a version listed for use in Class 1, Division 1, Group D hazardous locations making it the perfect solution for solvent coating and rotogravure processes.

The PerforMAX IQ static bar and PerforMAX IQ HL static bar are both available in three models; Speed Bar - designed for high speed processes, Hybrid Bar – designed for intermediate range applications, Distance Bar - extended range capability. Each model features current limiting at each emitter pin for operator safety. The emitter pins are made of a special alloy to extend the longevity and sharpness of the points, optimizing ionization performance.
